Celebrating 25 years of the Sidmouth Big Band, as well as 70 years of Sidmouth Folk Festival, this book contains 299 dance tunes from a variety of sources, many 18th century. All these tunes have been used for dancing by the Big Band, and all are arranged in four parts by Nick Barber. There are a lot of tunes here, but the 2-up A4 landscape format and the coil binding make it readable and easy to use.
Anyone who is looking for some dance tunes which are a bit different, with some ideas on arranging them, need look no further!
You can also download any individual tune from here without charge! But you’ll end up with a big pile of sheets of paper – the Big Band Big Book is a much nicer thing!!
