Sidmouth big band is a giant all-comers ceilidh band which happens at Sidmouth Folk Festival every year. A week of workshops leads to a public ceilidh, playing for dancing in the Anchor Gardens (Thursday 6th August 2026, afternoon).
For 2026 Sidmouth festival, the tunes were selected from the Nick Barber’s English Choice, though possessing the book isn’t a requirement!
