Works to be studied:
This will be a “Baroque Day” led by Louise Latham and the pieces worked on will include:
- Handel and Corelli concerti grossi (including the Christmas Concerto)
- Vivaldi string concerti
Music will be supplied on the day.
Louise Latham will conduct, and there will be a workshop atmosphere leading to a low-key play-through at the end. If you don’t know Louise, you should know that she is a great leader and facilitator for string players. With many years of professional playing and teaching experience, she has the knack of getting the very best out of any group of string players!
Please bring a music stand.
